Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Perform operations in accordance with established SOPs and job safety standards.
∎ Respond to abnormalities and take corrective actions consistent with established operating procedures and good Engineering practices.
∎ Analyze plant operating problems and coordinate solutions with the shift team members and maintenance team to increase plant availability, reliability, safety standards, etc.
∎ Maintain the shift logs, equipment operation data, parameter trends, and equipment history records.
∎ Conduct routine Checking of the plant to inspect equipment; provides feedback to other employees.
∎ Comply with all site safety requirements and procedures. Identifies safety hazards and takes corrective actions as necessary.
∎ Perform plant switching and tagging of equipment in accordance with approved procedures and prudent operations and maintenance practices under the direction of Management when assigned.
∎ Perform Electrical and Mechanical inspections, troubleshooting and maintenance tasks under the direction of Management when assigned.
∎ Investigate plant problems, incidents, accidents, and unusual events, and provide analyses, recommendations, reports, and appropriate follow-up plans.
