∎ Job Responsibilities
∎ Performs routine maintenance and calibration of biomedical equipment.
∎ Troubleshoots and repairs malfunctioning equipment.
∎ Keeps detailed records of maintenance activities and repairs.
∎ Assists in the installation and setup of new medical equipment.
∎ Ensures that equipment is installed according to manufacturer specifications and safety standards.
∎ Provides technical support and training to healthcare staff on the use of medical equipment.
∎ Addresses user concerns and resolved issues related to equipment functionality.
∎ Ensures that equipment complies with relevant safety standards and regulations.
∎ Assists in the development and implementation of safety protocols and procedures.
∎ Maintains accurate records of equipment inventory, maintenance, and repairs.
∎ Prepared and submits reports on equipment performance and any issues encountered.
∎ Works closely with other engineers, healthcare professionals, and vendors to address equipment-related needs.
∎ Communicates effectively with team members and provides updates on project progress and equipment status.
∎ Assists in testing and evaluating new products and technologies.
∎ Conducts tests and inspections to ensure the quality and performance of biomedical equipment.
∎ Identifies and recommends improvements to enhance equipment reliability and functionality.
∎ Manages the inventory of spare parts and supplies needed for equipment maintenance and repair.
∎ Coordinates with suppliers and vendors to procure necessary components.
