Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor's or master's degree in architecture from an accredited institution.
Experience Requirements:
∎ 3 to 4 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Control project starting from conceptual phase to completion of project to ensure high quality, innovative and functional design
∎ Take the "brief" to identify clients' needs and put together feasibility reports and design proposals
∎ Researches, programs, plans, designs, and administers building projects for clients, applying knowledge of architectural design, construction detailing, construction procedures, zoning and building codes, and building materials and systems.
∎ Produces conceptual plans, renderings, and documents.
∎ Produces construction documents in AutoCAD
∎ Develop ideas keeping in mind client's needs, building's usage and environmental impact
∎ Prepare presentations
∎ Produce detailed blueprints and make any necessary corrections
∎ Compile project specifications
∎ Communicate with clients and keep within budgets and timelines
∎ Ensure that all works are carried out to specific standards, building codes, guidelines and regulations
∎ Assists in research and coordination of materials and products for project specifications.
∎ Make site visits to check on project status and report on project to team leader.
∎ Follow architectural trends and advancements.
Additional Requirements:
∎ 3-4 years working experience in the architecture industry.
∎ High level of language proficiency (English and Bengali-both verbal and written).
∎ Strong portfolio to prove artistic skills.
∎ Expert knowledge of building products, construction details and relevant rules, regulations and quality standards.
∎ Strong imagination and the ability to think and create in three dimensions.
∎ Excellent drawing skills and familiarity with design software (AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop, SketchUp, 3DSMax or similar).
∎ Excellent oral and written communication.
∎ Time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
∎ Attention to details even under pressure.
Salary: Tk. 30000 (Monthly)
