Job Responsibilities:
∎ The successful candidate will be responsible for designing new buildings by contributing creative design ideas, mainly in residential and commercial arena.
∎ Prepare Architectural design with concept, presentation and working drawings.
∎ demonstrated in a combination of graphic and verbal communication skills
∎ Must be able to read, understand and coordinate other related drawings of Structural, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Safety and Landscaping Design.
∎ Co-efficient with local rules and regulations like, RAJUK, Cantonment Board and CDA. Also experienced to submit different departmental drawings for plan approval.
∎ Able to work independently with little or no supervision.
∎ Must be a team player. Team building, coaching and leading capacity
∎ Demonstrated experience in the design and delivery of a variety of projects with knowledge of construction are essential, and a dedication to the principles of sustainable design and innovation
∎ Capable of preparing detail measurement, working drawing, interior designing and detailing of layout plans, sections, elevations, and project plans.
∎ Capable of preparing Auto CAD presentation, Sketch-Up, 3D Studio Max, 3D Visualization and Illustrations as per requirements of the project
∎ Detailed understanding of project costing, material costing, feasibility testing, and effective project planning for timely completion
∎ Prepare Exterior & Interior/ Architectural design concept, plan, elevation, detail working drawing, 3D Visualization and cost estimation
∎ Adequate knowledge in designing residential & commercial spaces, retail and office spaces, furniture and interior products
∎ Experience of working as a key architect with experience of delivering presentations of business and technical solutions to clients in formal presentations, question and answer sessions and on reference visits
∎ Knowledge of building technology and construction and can demonstrate it through graphic documents and verbal skills
∎ Knowledge of building codes, standards and building structures
∎ Strategic thinking to achieve the aims for the project - safety / cost / time / quality /sustainability
∎ Manage vendors, contractors, suppliers and the overall supply chain
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 45 years
∎ Auto Cad, 3D Modeling & Google Sketchup Software, M.S Office, Corel Draw, Illustrator and Photoshop.
∎ Knowledge of building codes, standards and building structures
∎ Should be hardworking with excellent managing capability.
∎ Execution of residential and commercial projects.
∎ Member of Institute of Architects Bangladesh (IAB)
∎ Good communication & leadership skills with managerial capacity
∎ Excellent analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills
∎ Should be well-groomed, smart and energetic
∎ Also, to be fluent in English (both in Spoken and Writing).
