∎ Anesthesia technician degree, if found in Bangladesh
∎ Training/Trade Course: Training in Anesthesia department will get preference

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Strict compliance of all the instructions, by the anesthesia consultants and specialists regarding peri-operative patient management.
∎ First in the morning, will check and ensure, if needed report to concerned department like bio-med for proper functional state of anesthesia related equipment’s, instruments of the OT, he is placed. The pipeline gases, OT table, suction apparatus, anesthesia machine and linked products –gas delivery circuits, soda lime, anesthetic liquids for vapor etc. check and ensure, if needed report to concerned department like bio-med for proper functional state of vital parameter monitors, ventilators, laryngoscope and related products.
∎ Always keeps the emergency lifesaving medicine and equipment tray/trolley inside each OT ready and up-to-date. Will check and ensure all drugs used by anaesthesiologist are within date of expiry.
∎ Will assist anaesthesia consultant/specialist to prepare drugs, equipment’s, anything else required, including assistance in induction, intubation, monitoring maintenance, extubation, recovery for any type of aesthetic technique/procedure. Will not leave OT room without consent of them.
∎ Will check patient in preoperative bed for any gross observation like drug allergy, full stomach, difficult i/v access, no informed consent, comorbidity etc. and inform anaesthesia consultant/specialist. Will remain present inside OT room during transfer of patient to OT table.
∎ Also will accompany during transfer to recovery bed after operation till handover to responsible OT nurse.
∎ Duty hour will be as per HR dept. instruction guideline. But only the consultant head of anesthesia dept. can modify this for special requirement and smooth management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 18 to 40 years
∎ Experience of working in General Anesthesia department of any hospital
∎ Language skills both in Bangla and English
