Job Responsibilities:
∎ Freight Import Associate will be responsible for interacting daily with customers, Overseas agent, carrier, Sales team & all service providers.
∎ Freight Import Associate is responsible for monitoring international cargo from origin to its final destination.
∎ Freight Import Associate will also be responsible to follow up discrepant manifestation with airlines and agent as well as to monitoring quick doc's collection from GHA and release to respective clearing agent of CNEE.
∎ Booking follow up with respective agent & update to clients.
∎ Ensure error free documentation by cross checking with shipper/consignee.
∎ Pre alert follow up & forward to consignee through e-mail and make sure they received it.
∎ Shipment data input into internal online system & make Freight Invoice, cost voucher as per policy.
∎ DN, invoice, Agent Payment follow up with finance dept.
∎ Client Payment follow up as per Credit agreement.
∎ Rate Inquiry with multiple agents & apply best negotiation skill to get market best rate.
∎ Customer & sales Inquiry attend and monthly quotation send to respective some client.
∎ Support to Sales team.
∎ Communication is the key. Must be reachable responsive on available means of communications/devices. All incoming calls from customers, shipping line, sales & customer service must be answered.
∎ Healthy co-ordination with AIR & Ocean ops team.
∎ Will update sales person & customer service about cargo position, IGM status, delivery status, etc as & when required.
∎ Any other job assigned by the Management that have to follow up.
∎ The Freight Import Associate must ensure that all deadlines are met in order to provide outstanding service to our clients.
Additional Requirements:
∎ 1 to 2 Years Experience in logistics Supply Chain, Shipping & Freight Forwarding Industry. Custom Clearing Operations & documentation knowledge would be count on added advantage.
Salary: Negotiable
