Job Responsibilities:
∎ Key Responsibilities
∎ Work closely with overseas offices and local air team to minimize unit costs by effective procurement, cargo mixing and prioritizing sales opportunities accordingly.
∎ Develop Procurement initiative, core airline strategy & Operational Process/KPIs in close co-ordination with the Head of Airfreight, IBS District.
∎ Ensure mapping of customers (network controlled and local) in Bangladesh with core partner airlines.
∎ Devise air rate sheets for transactional business.
∎ Develop relationship at carrier's local offices in Bangladesh & negotiate favourable rates to support existing air business as well as develop new business opportunities.
∎ Optimize profitability. Ensure Global KPIs are adhered to.
∎ Timely GPM pricing submissions to the co-ordinating air desk at CEN or IBS district, as applicable
∎ Ensuring RFQ/RFPs are received from GTM desk is submitted on time and at correct market levels.
∎ Monitor the competition and market activities and share the market intelligence with the Head of Airfreight, IBS District.
∎ Key Performance Indicators
∎ Adherence to core carrier usage
∎ Profit Margin
∎ Timely RFQ response and quality of GPM pricing
∎ Structured procurement process with allocations
