Responsibilities & Context:
∎ • Experience Requirement: 10 to 15 year(s).
∎ • The applicants should have experience in the following: Local Purchase, Procurement Product Rice, Flour, Misted oil, Wheat, Salt, Chips, Corn
∎ • Capable to build a strong team for procurement to achieve the target.
∎ • Skills Required: Good at communication, Leadership, Negotiation Skills, Purchase, Team working.
∎ Job Responsibilities
∎ • Implementing and maintaining the standard purchasing process, establish purchase policy and strategy with a view to enhance savings and reduce waste.
∎ • Make sure all the requisite and approved commodities availability as per the specification.
∎ • Develop a purchasing & material sourcing policy, set a standard lead time for delivering to the end consumer.
∎ • Initiate and develop creative and innovative procurement processes.
∎ • Negotiate contract terms with key suppliers to ensure value for money, quality standards and delivery terms with technical and operational input from stakeholders if appropriate.
∎ • Forecast price and market trends to identify changes of balance in buyer-supplier power.
∎ • Develop, implement and maintain a supplier relationship and evaluation process to measure effective supplier performance and compliance.
∎ • Conducting market research to keep abreast of emerging trends and business opportunities.
∎ • Collaborate with key persons to ensure clarity of requirement specifications and expectations of the company.
∎ • Ensure compliance in all procure-to-pay processes & procurement rights.
∎ • Achieve the set procurement target in coordination with team members.
∎ • Onboard and develop value-added suppliers and nurture partnerships.
∎ • Reviewing existing contracts with suppliers and vendors to ensure on-going feasibility.
∎ • Building and maintaining long-term relationships with vendors and suppliers.
∎ • Approving purchase orders and organizing and confirming delivery of goods and services.
∎ • Performing risk assessments on potential contracts and agreements.
∎ • Controlling the procurement budget and promoting a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs.
∎ • Preparing detail reports on procurement and deliveries.
