∎ M.Pharm (Pharmaceutics, Pharm. Chemistry or any other discipline)/ Phd.
Experience Requirements:
∎ 10 to 14 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Product feasibility, IP strategy and interaction with R&D
∎ Patent landscaping for various countries like US, EU, CA, AU, IN
∎ Patent infringement analysis/ freedom to operate (FTO)/ patent invalidation
∎ Novelty, obviousness and literature search
∎ Preparation of product grid and entry dates for various markets
∎ Support business team on IP queries from customers on filed products and on in-licensing products
∎ Prepare patent reports to be shared with formulation scientists
∎ Patent drafting and prosecution for US, EU, CA, AU, IN and ROW countries
∎ IP protection to in-house developed technologies
∎ Analysis of a portfolio of patents/patent applications in a given technology domain (Competitor intelligence)
∎ Para IV and first to file (FTF) opportunities in US
∎ Assist patent attorney in preparing Para-IV notice letter by preparing technical grounds with respect to patents
∎ Support to regulatory team on label carve out and patent certification for US market
∎ Work closely with formulation and project management teams to achieve desired results
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 35 to 45 years
∎ Knowledge of databases such as Sci-finder, Ark Intelligence, Orbit, Total Patent One, Cortellis, IPD Analytics and google patents
∎ Have filed oppositions against PCT and European patent applications
∎ Well versed in searching veterinary products and patent information for US, EU, etc.
