Key Responsibilities:

• Maintaining Financial Records:

• Preparing Financial Statements:

• They prepare reports like income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, which are essential for understanding a company`s financial performance and position.

• Budgeting and Forecasting:

• Accountants assist in developing budgets and financial forecasts, helping organizations plan and manage their financial resources.

• Compliance:

• They ensure compliance with accounting standards (like GAAP) and tax regulations.

• Auditing and Risk Assessment:

• Accountants may conduct internal audits and assess financial risks to identify potential issues and recommend solutions.
