Educational Requirements:
∎ Minimum Bachelor degree in CSE/ EEE/ ECE background from a reputed university having good academic track records.
Experience Requirements:
∎ 3 to 5 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Configuration of BTS/ NodeB/ eNodeB, BSC/RNC, LAN switch and Router equipment and for connectivity with upper layer nodes.
∎ All kind of fault handling and rectification within SLA (Service Level Agreement) on base of severity.
∎ Capability to instruct/ guide Field Engineers and Customer Engineers to rectify BSC/RNC, BTS/NodeB/eNodeB, Lan switch related alarms.
∎ Fine tuning of GUL configuration (frequencies retune, power fine tune levels, sectors swap, handover etc.) as per requirements.
∎ Planning and Support in execution of physical connectivity between BTS, NodeB, BSC-TC, RNC, MGW, MSC, SGSN, LAN switches and Routers and RTN & OSN (MUX).
∎ Reporting on lub, lur, lu-CS, lu-PS and A, Ater, Gb interface utilization and health check for the hardware of telecom equipment.
∎ Network Health Check and rectification of Cell level call quality (assignment success rate, HO success rate, call drop rate) and downlink & uplink data throughput for EDGE.
∎ Coordinating with Core, Transmission, RF, OSS and Field engineers and take ownership of all faults escalated by customers
∎ Any other task as assigned by the line supervisor.
Additional Requirements:
∎ 3 - 5 years' experience in Telecom business and related engineering service.
∎ High Level Troubleshooting skills in operations & maintenance of all RAN Elements.
∎ Knowledge of RAN all KPI parameters.
∎ Depth knowledge on SS7 Protocol Stacks, MTP layers, BSSMAP, RANAP, ISUP, Hardware release architecture (R99/R4 etc.), routing & signaling flow.
∎ Speak English very well and if understand Chinese will be a good advantage.
∎ Hard working spirit, can bear big work pressure and work independently.
∎ Ability to easily adapt to changes.
∎ Ideal candidate will demonstrate an energetic and "Can-Do" attitude.
