Job Context:

∎ Employment Status: Full-time, subject to successful completion of probation period.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Responsible to adhere to Chevron Operational Excellent (OE) program
∎ Adhere to HES program, and promote incident-free operations; ensure all program are developed utilizing proper operating procedures and techniques for safe and environmentally sound operations; Aid in Incident Investigations and RCA is paramount
∎ Work with multi-disciplinary team to develop drilling, completion, intervention, abandonment programs as per Chevron CPDEP well design and life cycle management process
∎ Perform offset well analysis for new drilling and reviewing full well history for workover programs
∎ Perform risk assessment, peer reviews, and lead/hold Well Objective alignment meetings (VBWOs), generate all necessary documentation per operation team such as AFEs, program, directional program, fluid/waste management, etc.
∎ Collect all required permits for the programs
∎ Lead lookback reviews, and develop cost efficient program
∎ Lead WellSafe assurance certification processes for rig and well design
∎ Collect, share/communicate lesson learned
∎ Perform key engineering calculations/judgement in design phase
∎ Power user of WellView platform for capturing daily activities and cost; Be able to perform statistical reviews; Provide support/reviews to field team to ensure costs are reported correctly
∎ Receive Mentorship from more experienced personnel and upward mentor as well
∎ Work closely with operations team during execution to adjust plans based on wellbore conditions encountered and to ensure logistic arrangements are in place
∎ Manage drilling and completion service contracts, and participate in CHESM processes including setting SQM meetings, technical clarification, contract value tracking, amending, reconciling, and reporting
∎ Audit service contractor per CHESM process and close actions
∎ Maintain Chevron global, technical, and local Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) i.e., writing, editing, and publishing
∎ Be able to supervise drilling and completions operations if required
∎ Occasional travel to field operations will be required

Additional Requirements:
∎ 8-10 years of relevant experience in Drilling and Completions of Oil and Gas wells
∎ Technical Skills: Experience in well design engineering, pore pressure & fracture gradient prediction, surge-swab-ballooning-lost circulation management for development and exploration wells, time/cost estimation for well program; performance improvement process, SOP development & MOC management, Contractor performance management, and preparation of drilling, completion, and P&A programs. Technology savvy and one who can perform daily work deliverables in Power App based software. Basic understanding of gas well recovery to allow collaborative working with asset teams. Demonstrated application of fundamental engineering skills - T&D, Hydraulics, Casing and Tubing design to include/improve the engineering package. Relevant work experience in Bangladesh is preferred.
∎ Teamwork & Communication Skills: Works well with others in a multi-functional/cultural team environment. Able to timely coordinate various contractors, equipment and Logistics based on limited business partner infrastructure in Bangladesh. Proactively & effectively mentor junior engineers or technical assistants. Communicate and share progress, performance and lesson learned within the team.
∎ Documentation Skills: Able to develop detailed quality risk-assessed drilling & completion & P&A procedures & SOPs. Document look backs, and incorporate Lesson Learned for future activities. Develops quality site specific SIMOPS (Simultaneous Operation) plans. Analyze drilling, completion and abandonment operations, and document optimization and cost saving opportunities.
∎ Analytical Skills: Shapes performance. Good organizational and engineering /data analytical skills to analyze/solve well problems
∎ Demonstrates leadership skills: Set clear expectations and align teams on shared goals and outcomes. Prioritize and take ownership of work; Foster positive relationships; Provide feedback & be receptive and adjust to feedback received
