Experience:
Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Human Resource Management or Social Studies and Compliances
Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Human Resource Management or Social Studies and Compliances
PGD in Social Compliances will be an added advantage
At least 03 years experiences in Factory Welfare Administration in a medium sized manufacturing organization
The applicant should have experience in General HR, Health Safety Management, Labor Law, Legal Matters, Compliance Issues, Code of Conduct and Staff Motivation
Should have strong communication skills and sound knowledge on computer applications
Speaking and listening skills of Chinese Language will be an added advantage
Golden Sky Footwear Limited is a China – Bangladesh 100% export oriented joint venture organization engaged in manufacturing and exporting footwear and footwear components. The organization is looking for a staff member for its Employee Welfare Unit under HR & Compliance Department for immediate recruitment.
The Welfare Officer will be responsible to ensures all welfare activities align with Bangladesh Labor Law-2006 and Labor Rules 2015 of the organization. S/he will also be responsible for supervise and manage all welfare related activities of the organization, liaison with regulatory bodies & stake-holders and workers grievance related issues.
Job Responsibilities
To maintain co-operative relationship between the factory authorities and the workers and to arrange discussions between the two parties if necessary.
The welfare officer counsels and motivates workers regarding office discipline and absenteeism.
Assisting workers in granting paid leave and informing workers about any leave and other rules and regulations.
To pay attention to various facilities for the welfare of the workers such as: canteen, rest room, children`s center, provision of adequate toilets and washrooms, drinking water etc.
Arrange counseling program regarding health & safety issues.
Conduct worker`s awareness training & meeting.
Conduct worker`s participation meeting (WPC).
To look after worker`s welfare.
Collect grievance of workers & consult with management to resolve worker`s problem, complaints or grievances.
To make cordial & personal relation with workers.
Maintain all records as required.
Educate the workers about the rules & regulations, compliance issues, health & safety, first aid etc.
Carry out employee motivation and morale-building activities.
Look after occupational health and safety issues for the assigned area.
Carrying out floor visit (daily) to check housekeeping and compliance issues.
Handling grievances at the initial stage.
Encourage and motivate workers for better performance.
Maintaining registers (Maternity Leave, Grievance handling, Orientation, Awareness programs, etc.).
Ensure Maternity benefits as per Labor Law.
Handle maternity workers health and benefit issues.
Perform other duties as when assign by the superior
