Educational Requirements:
∎ A bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Procuring packaging materials such as cans, containers, labels, caps, and other packaging components from suppliers. This involves selecting reliable suppliers, negotiating prices, and ensuring timely deliveries.
∎ Managing the inventory of packaging materials to ensure an adequate supply is available to meet production requirements without overstocking or understocking.
∎ Ensuring the quality and compliance of packaging materials with industry standards and regulations. This includes performing quality checks, conducting inspections, and addressing any issues related to packaging materials.
∎ Managing the cost of packaging materials to ensure they are within budget and seeking cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
∎ Collaborating with design teams to develop and modify packaging designs to meet branding and marketing requirements, as well as to comply with regulatory guidelines.
∎ Maintaining accurate records and documentation related to the procurement, usage, and storage of packaging materials. This is important for traceability and quality control.
∎ Promoting sustainable packaging practices, which may include exploring environmentally friendly packaging materials and recycling or waste reduction initiatives.
∎ Ensuring that packaging materials and labeling comply with local and international regulations, which can vary depending on the type of paint and its intended use.
∎ Addressing any issues that arise in the packaging process, such as supply chain disruptions, defects in packaging materials, or changes in regulations.
∎ Working closely with other departments, including production, quality control, and marketing, to ensure a seamless flow of packaging materials and the timely delivery of finished paint products to customers.
∎ Follow up & checking the import indents as per requirement of respective department on the basis of Lead time & after justifying the stock level.
∎ Perform any task assigned by the management as and when required.
Additional Requirements:
∎ 10 years of experience in similar position in any reputed Pharmaceuticals.
