Educational Requirements:
∎ Minimum SSC passed.
∎ Must have vehicle driving license.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Supervise day-to-day transportation workforce.
∎ Oversee all daily operations of the record center in the most cost-effective and efficient manner.
∎ Train, supervise and evaluate the performance of assigned staff; Plan staffing levels to ensure adequate coverage.
∎ Plan, coordinate and oversee the routing, scheduling and daily transportation services.
∎ Schedule MT Operators, dispatch MT Operators and monitor routes to ensure schedules are met and to resolve operating problems.
∎ Provide daily oversight of transportation operations to ensure high levels of service.
∎ Oversee the assigning of MT Operators overtime, coordinate time off for MT Operators; arrange for substitutes as necessary.
∎ Direct and advise vendor drivers regarding transportation operations and contractual obligations.
∎ Maintain and check a variety of records of MT Operators including license, security & apron pass expirations, required for the renewal of the licenses and security & apron pass.
∎ Prepare and maintain a variety of records and reports related to routing, schedules, accidents and other transportation services, review daily time reports, fuel use and vehicle inspection records.
∎ Manage all aspects of transportation discipline to include: safety and security compliances, personnel scheduling, work load assignments etc.
∎ Receive and respond to driver accidents; drive to accident scenes and conduct internal accident investigations; gather information, take photos, obtain accident reports from relevant authority.
∎ Receive and respond to emergency calls to assure smooth and efficient operations.
∎ Resolve work problems and recommend measures to improve performance.
∎ Maintain records of vehicle use and maintenance.
∎ Process transport logs or reports.
∎ Perform related duties as assigned
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 45 years
∎ 4 to 5 years (s) in a supervisory position (Experience in the Motor Transport section will get added advantage)
∎ Age may be relaxed up to 45 years for experienced candidates.
∎ Sound Knowledge of Transport management
∎ Experienced in transport management of airline industries are highly encouraged to apply.
∎ Excellent communication skills & strong management skills.
