Educational Requirements:
∎ Diploma in Medical Technology
∎ Diploma in Medical Technology/2 years course completed recognized by BTEB with minimum 2 years’ experience. For the deserving candidate (highly experienced candidate) education qualification may be relaxed.
Experience Requirements:
∎ 1 to 2 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Recording patient information such as age, weight, height, and medical history
∎ Instructing patients on how to use the equipment at home if they are purchasing a device
∎ Testing individuals with hearing problems and determining if they can be rehabilitated with medication or other treatment options
∎ Performing hearing tests, audiograms, and other assessments on patients to diagnose hearing loss or other auditory disorders, such as tinnitus
∎ Performing hearing tests on newborn babies in accordance with guidelines
∎ Training patients on how to use their hearing aid devices if they are fitted with them
∎ Maintaining equipment used in testing including calibrating equipment and replacing batteries
∎ Installing and maintaining hearing aids and other auditory equipment for patients following fitting and training
∎ Conducting audiometric testing on infants and children to identify hearing problems early on

∎ Age 22 to 35 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Audiology technical procedures and techniques (Play Audiometry).
∎ Hearing conditions and their interrelationships.
∎ Administrative procedures.
∎ Audiology equipment and technology.
∎ Must be punctual and dependable with excellent customer service skills.
∎ Ability to prioritize and handle a high volume of patients.
∎ Work independently and as a team player.
∎ Be reliable.
∎ Have superior customer service skills
