∎ NESL now invites applications from competent candidates for the post of Technical Support Specialist-IT for employment with our prospective clients working in oil and gas industry.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ An experienced technician responsible for providing IT site service support on core infrastructure and desktop technology standard to Company’s operating environment; under work direction of IT Site Lead.
∎ Primary deskside support both onsite and remote for desktop technologies, Windows Operating Systems, and Mobile Device Management infrastructure, including day-to-day services and support, troubleshooting, incident management, preventative and mitigative maintenance and change implementation:
∎ Windows Operating System, Microsoft suites and tools, desktop software, video conferencing systems, virtual collaboration systems, VPN client support.
∎ Mobile Device Management infrastructure, mobile device, and mobility support per Company's standard.
∎ Level 1 troubleshooting support on audio video system, projectors, speakers.
∎ Level 1 support on anti-virus and patching if local effort required.
∎ PC data backup if required.
∎ Level 1 SharePoint Online support; site collection development & management.
∎ Intranet site support.
∎ Provide IT hardware break-fix support for Company’s standard models and approved non-GIL hardware.
∎ Printing support and troubleshooting for standalone printers, network printers, and scanners
∎ Act as Smart Badge Agent for Bangladesh IT end users.
∎ Timely escalate to next support levels.
∎ Level 1 support on the 3rd party Internet issues and request at the company premise.
∎ Adopt and respond to ITSM system in service delivery, incident management, and change management. Demonstrate proficiency in IT Service Management, ticket-based and SLA-based culture.
∎ Maintain IT asset inventory both hardware and software with data integrity and availability
∎ Follow and enforce Information Protection (IP) Policy of the company.
∎ Maintain liaison with and follow directives set forth by the company’s IT Department.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 3 years of industry experience.
∎ Desktop hardware and software troubleshooting.
∎ Windows 10 Operating System advanced troubleshooting, proficient using Windows registry.
∎ Microsoft Suite (2010/2016) advanced troubleshooting.
∎ Office 365 advanced troubleshooting.
∎ Hardware troubleshooting with an ability to pinpoint hardware vs. software issue.
Salary:
∎ Negotiable
∎ Dominant work schedule will be 14 days on/ 14 days off basis. Work Schedule may vary as per Company`s requirement. Yearly two annual allowance/bonus. Cell phone allowance. Group life Insurance coverage. Hospitalization Insurance coverage.
