Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Job Responsibilities as Team Leader, BMS System
∎ 1. System Design and Development:
∎ Lead the design of BMS architecture, including selecting and configuring DDC controllers, sensors, actuators, and network communication devices.
∎ Develop detailed system schematics, wiring diagrams, and control sequences for HVAC, lighting, access control, fire safety, and EMS.
∎ Customize software logic for real-time data collection, alarms, analytics, and automation using Siemens (Design CC) and Honeywell BMS platforms.
∎ Integrate third-party systems (e.g., Chillers, Boilers, Dust Collectors, VAVs) with BMS using protocols like BACnet, Modbus, Lon Works, and KNX.
∎ 2. Commissioning and Validation:
∎ Execute system commissioning, functional testing, and validation in compliance with GMP and 21 CFR Part 11 standards. Temperature, Relative humidity, Deferential Pressure etc.
∎ Prepare, execute, and validate IQ (Installation Qualification), OQ (Operational Qualification), and PQ (Performance Qualification) protocols for pharmaceutical & other non-classified environments.
∎ Ensure environmental monitoring for cleanrooms, controlled environments, and critical manufacturing areas.
∎ 3.Maintenance and Troubleshooting:
∎ Oversee the preventive and corrective maintenance of hardware and software components, ensuring minimal system downtime.
∎ Conduct root cause analysis for alarms and faults and implement permanent corrective actions.
∎ Perform firmware and software updates to ensure systems remain up-to-date with the latest features and security patches.
∎ 4. Documentation and Reporting:
∎ Generate detailed documentation, including Functional Design Specifications (FDS), Sequence of Operations (SOO), and As-Built Drawings.
∎ Provide comprehensive reports on system performance, energy consumption, and regulatory compliance.
∎ Conduct training sessions for internal teams and end-users on BMS operation and maintenance.
