Educational Requirements:
∎ Diploma in Survey/Civil Engineering from any reputed public or private institute.

Experience Requirements:
∎ 5 to 10 year(s)

Job Context:
∎ Department - Project Operations,
∎ Employment type - Contractual

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Establish initial benchmarks and all the stations as the reference using Total Station in project sites. Based on these operations the horizontal and the vertical control is established.
∎ Explain in drawing all the details of the survey based on the stations and the lines between the stations. The details are the streams, buildings, milestones, streets and any other natural or man-made features present in the area surveyed.
∎ Carry out topographic surveying (surveying of contour of the given land which involves both vertical and horizontal controls).
∎ Set layout and conduct field engineering activities to include:
∎ Establish control lines from control points.
∎ Establish elevation control points.
∎ Measure the distance and the angles between specific points on the earth surface.
∎ Locate boundary lines by searching for the past boundary present in the site.
∎ Establish legal boundaries for properties, based on legal deeds and titles.
∎ Establish parallel and perpendicular lines to be used as grids of reference.
∎ Analyze data using plans, maps, charts and software such as AutoCAD and GIS (geographic information systems) programs and prepare survey drawings.
∎ Record the results of surveys, including the shape, contour, location, elevation, and dimensions of land or land features.
∎ Coordinate findings with the work of engineering and architectural personnel, clients, and others concerned with projects.
∎ Maintain surveying equipment and suggest any upgrades needed.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Proficiency in using AutoCAD
∎ Good problem-solving skills.
∎ Attention to detail.
∎ Good communication skills in both English & Bangla.
∎ The applicants should have experience in Digital land survey, layout survey and floor survey.
∎ Excellent time-management, multi-tasking and communication skills
∎ Minimum 5-10 years' experience in Surveyor Roles.
