Job Context:
∎ The Supply Chain Officer- Assest, is responsible to manage Asset, property and equipment for IRC BD’s offices including Ukhiya, Cox’s bazar and Dhaka under the direct supervision of the SC manager. He/She will be in-charge with all asset tracking and database management in the field offices. He/She will work closely with the Supply chain, Program team and Operations staff.
∎ Job Location: IRC Bangladesh, Ukhiya Office
∎ Contract length: 1 Year (with possibility of extension)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Focal for all asset management
∎ Keep proper record of all asset procurement information and movement.
∎ Do tagging all Asset, inventories and equipment’s.
∎ Manage asset and equipment stock and allocate as per IRC procedures.
∎ Prepare monthly asset report and keep the information updated.
∎ Do plan for any asset movement and disposal plan following IRC procedures.
∎ Involve in asset counting and reconciliation to produce quarterly reporting.
∎ Follow up on regular maintenance of asset/ equipment.
∎ Support Supply Chain procurement team on procurement process when needed.
∎ Check the procurement file and do prepare payment request for smooth payment.
∎ Keep all procurement files scan copies for future archiving before submission to finance.
∎ Conduct any other duties as per line manager’s instruction accordance with IRC Bangladesh programme Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs);
∎ Conduct duties in accordance with the IRC Supply Chain Code of Conduct.
∎ Ensuring that all assets are controlled and managed properly in accordance to donor-specific polices.
∎ The implementation and/or maintenance of standard IRC assets management policies and procedures.
∎ Update the Asset register, and the inventory list for assets and expendable store and produce monthly reports.
∎ Work closely with supervisor to dispose assets including Auction, transfer, and donation process management in line with donor regulations and approval, with reference to organization policy.
∎ Conduct asset inventory (physical count) during the reporting period.
∎ Pull out updated asset list for end of grant report and develop assets running cost analysis.
∎ Reporting
∎ The position holder will:
∎ Prepare and submit accurate inventory and Asset reports to supervisor on time as per donor regulations for Asset.
∎ Support with developing and updating of warehouse material distribution plans as required.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 3 year of experience in Logistics, Asset, Inventory and Property management;
∎ Experience of working with UN or International NGOs;
∎ Understanding of the local market, local legislation related to contracts, suppliers, contractors and customs clearance, business registration requirements and tax regulations, legal aspects of contracting and contract management;
∎ Understanding of the procurement rules and regulations of major international donors;
∎ Very good skills MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Power point;
∎ Excellent interpersonal and team skills;
∎ Effective negotiation skills;
∎ Commitment to humanitarian principles and values;
∎ Commitment to and understanding of IRC’s aims, values and principles.

Salary: Tk. 52998 (Monthly)
