Job Context:
∎ The Supply Chain Officer- is responsible to manage Asset for the Ukhiya Office under the direct supervision of the Supply Chain Coordinator. He/She will be charged with all asset tracking and database management in Cox’s Bazar office and other field offices. He/She will work closely with the Operations/Supply chain team based in Dhaka and other field office
∎ Work Location: IRC-Bangladesh, Ukhiya Office with visits as needed to field offices
∎ Reporting To: Supply Chain Coordinator
∎ Department: Supply Chain
∎ Expected Start Date: At Earliest (Urgent Recruitment)
∎ Contract length: Till 30 September 2023 (with possibility of Extension subject to funding, program needs and performance of incumbent)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Focal for all asset management
∎ Keep proper record of all asset procurement information and movement.
∎ Do tagging all Asset, inventories and equipment’s.
∎ Manage asset and equipment stock and allocate as per IRC procedures.
∎ Prepare monthly asset report and keep the information updated.
∎ Do plan for any asset movement and disposal plan following IRC procedures.
∎ Involve in asset counting and reconciliation to produce quarterly reporting.
∎ Follow up on regular maintenance of asset/ equipment.
∎ Support Supply Chain procurement team on procurement process when needed.
∎ Check the procurement file and do prepare payment request for smooth payment.
∎ Keep all procurement files scan copies for future archiving before submission to finance.
∎ Conduct any other duties as per line manager’s instruction accordance with IRC Bangladesh program Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
∎ Conduct duties in accordance with the IRC Supply Chain Code of Conduct.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 18 to 60 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ University degree in Logistics, Economics or Engineering Management or related field
∎ Experience of working with UN or Non-Governmental Organizations;
∎ Minimum 2 years of experience in office administration;
∎ People who have knowledge in Chittagogian language will get preference
∎ Understanding of the local market, local legislation related to contracts, suppliers, contractors and customs clearance, business registration requirements and tax regulations, legal aspects of contracting and contract management;
∎ Understanding of the procurement rules and regulations of major international donors;
∎ Very good skills MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Power point;
∎ Excellent interpersonal and team skills;
∎ Effective procurement and contract management skills;
∎ Dedications to humanitarian principles and values;
∎ Dedications to and understanding of IRC’s aims, values and principles
∎ Certification on office administration or any other relevant professional degree/ course would be an added advantage.
