Job Responsibilities:
∎ Procurement:
∎ Facilitate the procurement of goods and services in the IRC Ukhiya office when directed to do so by the Senior Supply Chain Officer
∎ Follow all IRC procurement policies and standards, and goods/services are procured efficiently
∎ Ensure procurement of materials, equipment and services ordered by the projects in a cost-effective and transparent manner in line with IRC and donor specific policies and ensuring Value for Money
∎ Ensure that all purchase requests, purchase orders, RFQ and RFPs are tracked from point of planning and request through to final receipt
∎ Prepare RFQ and summary of Bids for competitive process and represent in the procurement committee meeting and ensure VfM is ensured in the procurement process
∎ Work closely with other SC team member to ensure purchased assets are registered in the inventory database
∎ Follow up with suppliers for timely delivery of goods or services ordered; assist in returns/exchanges/warranty repairs
∎ Prepare and submit payments of suppliers to finance on a timely manner
∎ Ensure that procurement files are stored in the accurate manner as per IRC rules
∎ Conduct duties in accordance with the IRC Supply Chain Code of Conduct
∎ All other task assigned by line manager
∎ Assets:
∎ Assist in the management and disposal of assets in accordance with IRC and donor guidelines
∎ Assist the asset and inventory officer with asset checks for the Cox’s Bazar office and locations

Additional Requirements:
∎ Experience of working with UN or Non-Governmental Organizations preferred but not essential
∎ Experience working in a situation where there are conflicting deadlines and work has to be prioritized
∎ Good Excel and Microsoft Word abilities; familiarity with Outlook desirable
∎ Good interpersonal and team skills
∎ Dedicated to and understanding of IRC’s aims, values and principles
∎ Incumbent needs to be flexible and adaptable to the changing needs of the program and Supply Chain department
∎ Working knowledge of English is essential
∎ Proficiency in Written and Spoken Bangla is required

Salary: Tk. 42000 (Monthly)
