Job Overview:
Nourish Poultry and Hatchery Ltd. is seeking an experienced and dedicated Supervisor – Hatchery Operations to oversee daily hatchery activities and ensure optimal hatchability, high-quality chick production, effective biosecurity, and operational efficiency. The successful candidate will supervise employees, monitor equipment performance, oversee vaccination and chick dispatch, maintain accurate production records, and ensure compliance with company standard operating procedures (SOPs) and production targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise egg receiving, grading, fumigation, storage, setting, incubation, hatching and chick dispatch operations.
Monitor hatchery equipment, incubators, hatchers, ventilation, temperature, humidity and sanitation systems.
Ensure proper hatchery biosecurity, hygiene, and disease prevention measures.
Maintain target hatchability, chick quality and production efficiency.
Supervise hatchery workers and ensure proper work allocation.
Monitor vaccination, chick handling, sexing, packing and chicks loading.
Maintain daily hatchery production records, mortality reports, hatchability reports and machine performance data.
Coordinate with breeder farm for egg supply.
Identify operational problems and report technical or maintenance issues to management.
Ensure compliance with company SOPs, animal welfare and safety standards.
Assist the Hatchery Manager in achieving production and quality objectives.
