∎ - Experience in electrical engineering, preferably in the construction industry.
∎ - Proficiency in AutoCAD, electrical design software, and other relevant tools.
∎ - Strong knowledge of electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards.
∎ - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
∎ - Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
∎ - Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Installation Oversight: Oversee the installation of electrical systems, including wiring, lighting, and other electrical components, to ensure quality and safety.
∎ Troubleshooting and Maintenance: Identify and resolve electrical issues during construction, and provide ongoing maintenance support post-construction.
∎ Coordination: Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate electrical systems into overall construction plans and designs.
∎ Budget Management: Assist in budgeting and cost estimation for electrical components and systems, and monitor expenses throughout the construction process.
∎ Compliance Assurance: Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards related to electrical systems installation and operation.
∎ Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation of electrical designs, installations, inspections, and maintenance activities for future reference.
∎ Team Support: Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers, technicians, and construction teams involved in electrical work.
∎ Quality Assurance: Conduct inspections and quality checks on electrical installations to ensure they meet specified standards and specifications.
∎ Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on advancements in electrical technology, codes, and regulations, and incorporate best practices into construction projects.
