∎ Diploma in Engineering in AC, Refrigeration
Job Context:
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Carries out preventive maintenance of refrigeration and Air Conditioning equipment and systems
∎ Repairs faculty Refrigeration and Air Conditioning equipment and plant
∎ Carries out routine checks and logs of the status of Refrigeration and Air Conditioning equipment
∎ Requisitions for materials required for the smooth operation of the Refrigeration and Air Conditioning equipment
∎ Assist in verification of Refrigeration and Air Conditioning spares purchaged/Suplied
∎ Ensure that the Air Conditioning system is ON at the right time
∎ Trouble shoot Air Conditioning equipment malfunctions, diagnose problems and perform maintenance on Refrigeration & Air Conditioning equipment
∎ Manage the safety of the Air Conditioning Plant rooms and workshops
∎ Make recommendations to replace equipment if expected cost to repair exceeds possible replacement cost.
∎ Make minor installation decisions
∎ Perform regular cleaning of the equipment
∎ Maintain job worksheets detailing nature of assignment, parts utilized, time expended and type of work performed
∎ Collect data for reports
∎ Cost effective and efficient maintenance procedures
∎ Efficient and effective Refrigeration and Air Conditioning system
∎ Properly installed Refrigeration & Air Conditioning equipment.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 22 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ The applicants should have experience in the heavy Central Air Conditioning Plant
∎ Willing to perform shift duty(Day & Night)
∎ Responsibility of AC system service and maintenance
∎ HVAC related project operation & Control
∎ Must have computer literacy especially MS Word & Excel.
∎ Mature, energetic, Proactive, Innovative and quick witted
∎ Ability to work independently and for long hours.
