Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Assist in the routine inspection, maintenance, and repair of cold storage refrigeration systems, including compressors, condensers, evaporators, and other related machinery.
∎ Troubleshoot and resolve electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration system issues promptly to avoid equipment downtime.
∎ Ensure the proper functioning of temperature control systems to maintain the desired storage conditions for perishable items.
∎ Continuously monitor temperature, humidity, and other critical environmental factors within cold storage to ensure optimal conditions.
∎ Record and maintain accurate logs of system performance, temperature variations, and energy consumption.
∎ Perform scheduled preventive maintenance activities to minimize the risk of equipment failure.
∎ Identify potential issues early and coordinate with senior engineers to implement corrective actions.
∎ Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations, company policies, and environmental guidelines.
∎ Maintain detailed maintenance logs and reports for all cold storage equipment, including repair history, performance data, and any incidents.
