∎ Age at most 35 years
∎ Diploma with exceptional track record will get added advantage.
∎ MUST know AutoCAD and Tekla Structure, Microsoft Office.
∎ Have expertise in Steel structure detailing and RCC/ Industrial projects and practical knowledge in the relevant field.
∎ Have knowledge about connections details, welding, nesting etc.
∎ Ability to check/ redline other detailers work accurately.
∎ Expertise on Aise, BS and OSHA detailing standards.
∎ Have the capability to work under pressure and to be a team player.
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Pre-engineered Steel Structure Company.
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Preparation of the work such as preparation of detail drawings, production order etc.
∎ Preparation of production and erection drawings using Tekla & AutoCAD·
∎ Check the Tekla/ AutoCAD model and drawing prepared for approval/ fabrication.
∎ Create detailed structural steel models in Tekla Structures software.
∎ Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to ensure accuracy and completeness of designs.
∎ Ensures that all details are accurate and adhere to project specifications and industry standards.
∎ Reviews drawings and models to ensure that all details are correctly represented and that there are no errors.
∎ Production of structural steel workshop fabrication and manufacturing detail drawings from engineering design drawings (3D modules and other engineering design information).
∎ Producing drawings of sufficient detail and quality to enable the fabrication and assembly of structural steel beams, columns and other pieces required to complete a project in whole or in part.
∎ Production of construction/ erection deliverables including the erection making plans, sections and elevations and erection detail drawings if required.
∎ Preparation 2D drawings of single parts or fittings, 2D drawings of assembly parts or finished fabricated individual piece marks.
∎ Sub-assembly GA drawings, as required.
∎ Preparation shop bolt location list and shop bolt summary report.
∎ Performing three-dimensional (3D) modeling using suitable Tekla Structures programs.
∎ Complying with the required technically acceptable standard of work in accordance with the relevant standards and the company’s detailing and drafting QA/QC procedures.
∎ 2D dxf NC files for automated profile cutting of plate work.
∎ NC files to a DSTV standard format of automatic fabrication of individual shafts.
∎ Preparation of master list reports such as materials list, assembly drawing list, bolt list single part list etc.
∎ Preparation of structural drawing through Draftsman.
∎ Any other assignment not detailed herein & felt conducive by Management as and when necessary.
