Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, or a related field from an accredited academic institution with 5 years of relevant professional experience; or
∎ School diploma plus seven years relevant experience / Certificate in the above field with seven years of relevant professional experience.

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 5 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Provide technical assistance to Office of RRRC for construction and/or rehabilitation projects, from the initial planning, design to the implementation and monitoring.
∎ Conduct field visits for the necessary engineering surveys and investigation.
∎ Provide support on preparation and/or review all aspects of structural design and analysis of proposed new infrastructure facilities and/or rehabilitation of the existing infrastructure facilities.
∎ Provide support on preparation and/or review of civil designs for small to large scale areas. Civil designs include (but not limited to), drainage, hydraulic analysis, culvert design, large scale cut/fill, quantity take offs, retaining wall, road design, health and community facilities
∎ Assist the structural analysis and report of the approved architectural drawings.
∎ In coordination with Architect(s), assist the Engineer(s) to prepare the detailed estimates of the designed buildings/structures.
∎ In coordination with Architect(s) and Engineer(s), prepare the specification of the materials and methodologies to be used in construction
∎ Assist on the review and ensuring the structural design is strictly in compliance with the soil conditions (soil test analysis report), with Bangladesh National Building Code (BNBC), international building codes standards and/or international humanitarian design standards practices.
∎ Assist in the review and ensuring the structural design is strictly compliance with requirement of seismic and wind speed zoning
∎ Provide necessary information and documentation for the preparation of project approvals, project proposals and/or project overview.
∎ Conduct site visits for monitoring of infrastructure construction activities as necessary.
∎ Perform such other duties as may be assigned

Salary:
∎ Monthly gross salary for this position is BDT 120,860.00.
