Educational Requirements:
∎ B. Sc in Civil Engineering from BUET/CUET/KUET/RUET/DUET or public / reputed private university.
Experience Requirements:
∎ 8 to 10 year(s)
Job Context:
∎ Sheltech Engineering Ltd., a well reputed construction management company is currently looking for qualified and committed individuals to fill the following positions.
∎ Job Location: Head Office, Dhaka
∎ Employment Status: Temporary
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Must have experience to design of all types of pre-fabricated industrial, commercial, high rise steel building (including connection) and R.C.C structure according to specification of BNBC- 2007 & 2017.
∎ Must be able to study design / drawing of industrial construction, power plant, high rise building and ensure implementation of works.
∎ Strong knowledge of making approval as well as proposal drawings of industrial projects.
∎ Preparation of shop & erection drawing of steel structure or pre-engineered steel structure
∎ Strong knowledge on designing of sub-structure.
∎ Preparation of weight basis detail BOQ according to design.
∎ Knowledge of American code (loading as well as structural code) like ASCE, AISC, IBC, AISI, ACI etc.
∎ Determines project specifications by studying product design, customer requirements, and performance standards; completing technical studies; preparing cost estimates.
∎ Prepare drawing & BOM for structure.
∎ Prepare structural reports for steel & R.C.C structure
∎ Prepare the general conditions budget as per architectural, structural, sanitary / plumbing and electro-mechanical drawings.
∎ Must have knowledge in ERP system for budgetary control.
∎ Prepare monthly cost forecasting summaries.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 38 years
∎ Should have design experience in large infrastructure / industrial / commercial / high rise building with basement is highly required.
∎ The candidate must be highly proactive, self-motivated and energetic
∎ Strong knowledge on software like Auto CAD, Tekla, STAAD Pro, ETABS etc.
∎ Strong interpersonal & communication skill is must.
