Job Context:
∎ Aterna Ltd. is a Product Development and Building Construction venture with an expanding portfolio of design-build projects. We are a sister concern of Space Consultants and provide holistic solutions by providing a one-stop-shop for real estate, furniture and furnishing jobs. Specifically, we focus on diverse structural design problems and production technologies in a project-based setting. Today, we are gearing up for the construction of a 10 storey building using Building Information Modeling (BIM) Technology.
∎ At Aterna, we wish to expand our business development team by recruiting and developing new talent. Team members will be trained in expert BIM software in a collaborative environment. New hires can expect to gain invaluable technical problem solving skills, and leapfrog decades of industry experience under the tutorship of our design specialists. There are multiple career paths that could be taken from this role from a growth perspective, most likely one that would lead Structural design in a Building Information Modeling environment.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Must be an independent and fast learner, capable of absorbing fast-paced training
∎ Assist Design leader in design exploration, prepare project drawings, detailed BOQs according to design, and project schedules.
∎ Must have drafting experience of composite buildings and steel structures in AutoCAD
∎ Collaborate and Coordinate with other disciplines for design changes and model challenges.
∎ Assist team with preparing Detail Engineering Assessment (DEA) Report, Design Report (As per Standard of BNBC, ACI, etc)
∎ Have good operational knowledge on structural analysis & design (Etabs, Staad Pro, etc.)
∎ Must be able to perform Structural Design of 10 storied RCC & Steel Buildings independently.
∎ Produce accurate construction drawings using Steel Detailing suites (Tekla)
Additional Requirements:
∎ Working knowledge of Building Information Technology software (Rhino, Tekla, Revit, etc) will get preference
∎ Working knowledge of Designing and 3D modelling suites (Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, 3D Studio Max) will get preference
∎ Industrial Work Experience will get preference
Salary: Tk. 20000 - 40000 (Monthly)
