Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Deliver high-quality, compassionate care to patients, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
∎ Accurately administer medications and injections as per physician’s instructions and hospital protocols.
∎ Draw blood samples for laboratory testing, ensuring proper labeling, handling, and documentation.
∎ Administer injections and manage intravenous (IV) therapies when required, ensuring patient comfort and accurate dosage.
∎ Assist patients during physiotherapy sessions as prescribed by the doctor, ensuring that exercises are performed correctly and safely.
∎ Regularly monitor and document patients’ vital signs such as temperature, blood pressure, heart rate, and respiratory rate.
∎ Operate and monitor medical equipment required for patient care, ensuring proper functioning and maintenance.
∎ Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care, treatment, and progress in compliance with hospital policies.
∎ Effectively communicate with patients, families, and the healthcare team regarding care plans, treatment progress, and patient concerns.
∎ Educate patients and their families on post-treatment care, medication management, and lifestyle adjustments as necessary.
∎ Adhere to infection control procedures to ensure a clean, safe, and sterile environment for patients and staff.
∎ Respond promptly and efficiently to medical emergencies, providing immediate care until further assistance arrives.
