Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery(MBBS)
∎ MBBS for Sr. Medical Officer/Medical Officer. Part-1 completed will get preference.
Experience Requirements:
∎ 3 to 5 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Take charge of the patients allotted to his/her handed over by previous duty doctor.
∎ Ensure newly admitted patients are properly assessed, Physical examination done, and documentation completed in medical records.
∎ Record investigations ordered by Consultants and ensure those are carried out and reports are available.
∎ Follow up the patients in time and prepare a brief.
∎ Will attend consultants round, brief him about the patient and seek advice about next course of treatment.
∎ Seek advice from Consultant about critical cases. Monitor and evaluate critical cases hourly and whenever required.
∎ Before transferring any patient to ICU/HDU must discuss with Consultant of ICU/HDU and concerned Consultant.
∎ Organize Consultants Referral after consultation with primary Consultant. Ensure Referral/ Transfer forms are duly completed.
∎ In case of any death; evaluate the case after proper examinations. Issue death certificate after confirmation.
∎ Will issue discharge certificate and educate patients about the post discharge responsibilities and follow up.
∎ Counseling patients and their families about the process and record the discussion in Patient's education/counseling form.
∎ Will confirm all the procedures, dressing, blood transfusion, introduction of catheter etc. are done with proper care and precaution, after taking due consent and recorded in time.
∎ Will ensure proper handing-taking of patients at the time of duty change over.
∎ Will endorse Consultants visit in medical records file.
∎ Fill and update Co-morbidity form after proper assessment.
∎ Will ensure Humanity, Medical Ethics and Professionalism is maintained in dealing with patients.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 35 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Minimum 03 to 05 years practical experiences for Sr. Medical Officer and 01 year experience for Medical Officer in reputed Hospital.
Salary:
∎ Negotiable
