Educational Requirements:
∎ The incumbent should be Masters in any discipline, Pharmacy or Biological Science background with MBA from reputed institutions will be given preference.
∎ Professional degree in Supply Chain Management will be an added advantage.

Experience Requirements:
∎ 8 to 10 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Ensure implementation of local purchase policies & strategies for smooth operation of local supply as per company prescribed SOPs.
∎ Prepare procurement plan for all local raw, packaging, scheduled and non-scheduled materials in line with budgetary control.
∎ Finalize the purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of goods of Local raw & packing materials, stationery/supply/promotional items and all other scheduled and non-scheduled items such as QC equipment's, QC chemicals/reagents, construction related materials, Computer & computer accessories, electrical equipment & accessories, Furniture & Fixtures for the company.
∎ Lead in negotiating contracts and formulating policies with suppliers by keeping regular communication with them.
∎ Provide all necessary assistance to the Head of Procurement on coordination and value contribution relevant to Procurement compared to industry standards.
∎ Ensure procurement and delivery of goods, verification of supplier's bill against Cash purchase, direct purchase, emergency purchase etc.
∎ Oversee all processes are accomplished in line with requisition raised by the concerned functions to ensure on time supply to the internal customer.
∎ Take all necessary steps for solving all type of problems in aspects of local purchase.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 40 years
∎ Minimum 8-10 years of procurement experience in reputed local/multinational pharmaceutical industry.
∎ Excellent written/oral communication skills (both English and Bangla) with strong analytical, strategic thinking, organizational, interpersonal competencies with commendable negotiation skills.
∎ Sound knowledge in computer especially in MS office package is a must.
∎ Good knowledge over ISO 9001 guidelines, WHO cGMP, MHRA, US-FDA and other relevant global regulations.
∎ The incumbent should be self-driven to work under pressure, result oriented with 'can do' attitude and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
∎ Age limit is within 40 (forty) years. But it may be relaxed for qualified and experienced candidates.
