Educational Requirements:
∎ The candidate should have Masters/Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering from any reputed public/private university.

Experience Requirements:
∎ 1 to 2 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Provide necessary assistance to Departmental Head as per User Requirements Specification (URS) as well as technical specifications as specified by plant technical service department.
∎ Accomplish the primary goal of procuring technical equipment & installation for plant operations.
∎ Arrange and participate in meetings between suppliers and Company engineers, vendor communication and other personnel to facilitate standardization and economical procurement.
∎ Receive the price quotations and prepare the schedule of comparison accordingly.
∎ Ensure that all potential suppliers are provided with identical information upon which the quotations are given equal opportunity to meet the desired requirements.
∎ Prepare all sorts of documentation and issuance of Purchase order as per ISO guideline.
∎ Collect documents from vendor for L/C opening and clearance of machineries from port.
∎ Follow up L/C opening with commercial dept. & contact with vendor for follow up shipment.
∎ Cooperate in purchase of all kinds of local and import equipment, capital machinery as well as small materials, all kinds of spare parts, calibration service, reagents, HPLC Column, lab accessories, glassware, etc.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 30 years
∎ 1-2 years of experience in relevant field, especially in pharmaceutical sector or manufacturing industry will get preference.
∎ Sound knowledge in pharmaceutical machinery, relevant sourcing and competitive information of the industry is desired.
∎ Excellent written/oral communication skills (proficiency in both English and Bangla) and strong analytical, strategic thinking, organizational, interpersonal competencies with commendable negotiation skills.
∎ Hands on expertise in computer especially in MS office package is required.
∎ The incumbent should be pro-active to work under pressure, result oriented with 'can do' attitude and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
∎ Age limit is not more than 30 (thirty) years. But it may be relaxed for highly qualified and experienced candidates.
