∎ Experienced in grocery retail Supply Chain Management (SCM) who has proven record in Perishable Supply Chain.

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 10 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): supply chain management
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Departmental store, Retail Store

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Developing, leading, and executing purchasing strategies
∎ Tracking and reporting key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve the effectiveness
∎ Crafting negotiation strategies and closing deals with optimal terms
∎ GP enhancement, deep rooted sourcing, market price competitiveness analysis.
∎ Innovative/ proactive idea generation on regular/ Crisis item
∎ Partner with stakeholders to ensure clear requirements documentation
∎ Forecast price and market trends to identify changes of balance in buyer-supplier power
∎ Perform cost and scenario analysis, and benchmarking
∎ Assess, manage, and mitigate risks
∎ Seek and partner with reliable vendors and suppliers
∎ Determine quantity and timing of deliveries
∎ Monitor and forecast upcoming levels of demand
∎ Ensuring all products’ availability according to business requirements.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 35 to 45 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Supervisory and management experience.
∎ Exposure on possible industries i.e. Agora / Mina Bazar/ Fashion retail/ Bata or Shoe Industry/ Garments Merchandizer/ Best Buy.
∎ Experienced in :
∎ a. GP enhancement
∎ b. Deep rooted sourcing
∎ c. Market price competitiveness
∎ d. Innovative idea on regular/ Crisis item
∎ e. Proactive attitudes in crisis items
