∎ Identify, evaluate, and source products from a variety of suppliers to meet business needs.
∎ Focus on expanding the product range to stay competitive in the e-commerce space.
∎ Establish and maintain relationships with new and existing vendors.
∎ Conduct regular performance reviews and negotiate pricing, lead times, and terms to ensure the company receives optimal value.
∎ Develop and implement sourcing strategies that align with Jitben’s goals.
∎ Ensure that procurement is aligned with customer demands, seasonal trends, and inventory levels.
∎ Monitor product costs and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
∎ Negotiate bulk pricing and favorable terms with suppliers.
∎ Stay updated on market trends, new suppliers, and competitive pricing strategies.
∎ Conduct regular market analysis to identify potential sourcing opportunities.
∎ Collaborate with inventory and logistics teams to ensure timely product availability and efficient stock management.
∎ Help in demand forecasting to avoid stockouts or overstocking.
∎ Work closely with the quality assurance team to ensure that sourced products meet the company's quality standards and customer expectations.
∎ Ensure that all sourced products and vendors comply with relevant regulations and company policies.
∎ Maintain transparency and documentation for auditing purposes.
