Educational Requirements:
∎ B.Sc / M.Sc in Mechanical/Textile engineering/ BBA / MBA / Masters in any discipline from reputed University.
∎ PGD in Supply Chain Management would get preference.

Experience Requirements:
∎ 4 to 6 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): Logistics Management, Purchase/ Procurement, Supply Chain, Vendor management

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Analyzing RFQ (Request for Query), Preparing CS (Comparative Statement), and assist in issuing POs (Purchase Orders) and following it up till final delivery.
∎ Communicate regularly with the concerned department in order to plan Fire & Safety Equipments sourcing.
∎ Collect quotations from various vendors/suppliers; Maintaining accountability with individual enlisted vendors.
∎ Manage vendor and supplier selection process based on price, quality, support, capacity and reliability.
∎ Establish and develop credit for products within the category as per enlisted vendors.
∎ Work on cost savings initiatives by developing new sources and long-term contracts to ensure optimum costs and reliable supply.
∎ Maintain relationships with existing suppliers and source new suppliers as required; Update vendor database on a regular basis.
∎ Make projection regarding the stock level of multiple vendors or suppliers.
∎ Ensure checking of the price of the procured goods by visiting the market frequently and prepare a comparative statement for personal analysis.
∎ Follow-up delivery of the requested equipment’s/materials and supplies in a timely manner.
∎ Monitoring the market price of Materials and updating market intelligence.
∎ Evaluate vendor performance based on quality standards, delivery time & best prices and ensure all the criteria are met according to the organizational requirements and expectation.
∎ Responsible for implementing internal procurement strategies cater to high delivery and short lead time requirements.
∎ Ability to work independently under daily business operations
∎ Undertake any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 25 to 35 years

∎ Excellent communications and negotiation skills with suppliers and internal customers.
∎ Resourceful, self-driven, proactive and independent performer.
∎ Able to work under pressure and meet the deadline.
∎ Should have Knowledge of online marketing and a good understanding of major sourcing channels.
∎ Positive attitude and customer-oriented with good multitasking and organizational ability.
