Educational Requirements:
∎ Graduation in any discipline.
∎ Fruitful training on export-import, customs, C&F etc. may add value.
Experience Requirements:
∎ 5 to 7 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Predominantly responsible for day-to-day freight forwarding operations (Air, ocean, land, and rail).
∎ Dealing with clients & B2B partners with keeping proper records.
∎ Keeping touch with new possible supplier for getting FCL export-import shipment & making agreement with overseas agent.
∎ To make sales visit particularly various EPZ, garments, export oriented manufacturer etc.
∎ To promote freight forwarding sales & marketing.
∎ Collecting rate from carrier/NVOCC, vendors and offer to customers including approval process.
∎ Ensure shipment booking, giving shipping instruction and arrange open cargo from market without nomination.
∎ Maintaining project shipment, SOA & giving shipping order to CFS.
∎ Surrender of Master Bill of Lading, collection and review of shipping documents.
∎ Arrangement of DO from shipping line, issuance of DO; preparation and submission of invoice to Customer.
∎ Following recognizing bodies like BAAFA, IATA, ATAB, NBR, Customs authority etc.
∎ Other related responsibilities as will be assigned by the Company from time to time.
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 5-7 year(s) real life experience in air, ocean, land & rail freight working expertise. Also skill on dealing export-import process & documentation.
∎ Having verge knowledge on project shipment, normal cargo of Sea, Air, road & rail and also correct way to submission of VGM, EGM & IGM.
∎ Age at most 40 years.
∎ Excellent in inter-personal & communication skills, also working capacity being a team.
∎ Should be proactive, outspoken and persuasive.
∎ Must have satisfactory skill on computer operation, internet browsing & software management.
Salary:
∎ As per Silver Bridge Logistics Ltd. pay scale.
