∎ We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Textile Engineer - Fabric Specialist to join our Supply Chain Management department. The successful candidate will play a critical role in overseeing the sourcing, quality assurance, and integration of fabric materials into our production processes, ensuring that all textiles meet our high standards for quality, durability, and sustainability.

∎ Job Responsibilities:
∎ Sourcing and Procurement:
∎ Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with fabric suppliers to ensure a consistent supply of high-quality materials. Negotiate contracts and pricing to achieve cost efficiencies.
∎ Quality Assurance:
∎ Develop and implement rigorous quality control processes to assess the quality of incoming fabrics. Conduct regular inspections and testing to ensure compliance with company standards and industry regulations.
∎ Product Development Support:
∎ Collaborate with the product development team to select appropriate fabrics for new product lines. Provide technical expertise on fabric properties, performance, and suitability for specific applications.
∎ Inventory Management:
∎ Monitor and manage fabric inventory levels to prevent shortages and overstock situations. Ensure that materials are stored properly to maintain their integrity.
∎ Sustainability Initiatives:
∎ Advocate for and implement sustainable fabric sourcing and production practices. Work with suppliers to identify and adopt eco-friendly materials and processes.
∎ Technical Documentation:
∎ Maintain detailed records of fabric specifications, test results, and supplier performance. Prepare reports and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
∎ Process Improvement:
∎ Continuously evaluate and improve supply chain processes related to fabric sourcing and handling. Implement best practices and innovative solutions to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
∎ Vendor Management:
∎ Build and maintain strong relationships with fabric vendors. Address any issues related to delivery, quality, or performance promptly and effectively.
