Negotiation Skills, Purchase/ Procurement, supply chain management, Vetting the Capex user required specifications
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
Manufacturing (FMCG)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Plan, source, negotiate and procure Capex, spare parts, engineering services, project procurement as per business demand/ requisition/user required specification.
∎ Ensure delivery of material(s) at the right price from the right source at the right time with the right quantity and quality.
∎ Maintain a sufficient supplier base to minimize supply chain risk. Source and develop alternative vendors for competitive price and right quality.
∎ Follow-up local vendors for on time delivery.
∎ Regular market and relevant product's factory visit.
∎ Regular visit to our factories for smooth support.
∎ Vendor enlistment as per company SOP and updating legal documents on regular basis.
∎ Strategic planning, working on forecasts (ROFO), RFQ, RFPs, negotiations, Supplier selection, contract preparation, import and delivery of Materials.
∎ Continuous process improvement and reduction of operating costs.
∎ Always monitor, guide and motivate team members for better support to business.
∎ Produce a monthly report comparing savings and progress compared in relation to logistics KPIs.
∎ Analysis of requirement specification and stock to ensure more accurate procurement plan.
∎ Quotation/Price offer collection from foreign & local supplier as per business requirement.
∎ To make comparative statement with alternative vendor/s for negotiated items.
∎ Regular liaison with business/factory for urgent requirements.
∎ Issuing purchase order to local vendor and arrange to issue L/C for foreign vendor.
∎ Check H.S code and collect PFI, Catalog and other necessary documents to open LC.
∎ Receive draft L/C and verify terms and conditions and follow up with suppliers for acceptance then transmitted LC accordingly.
∎ Follow up delivery and documentation maintaining a proper communication with supplier and forwarder to ensure availability of material(s) on time. Collect all shipping documents from the suppliers and provide to bank for endorsement.
∎ Follow up with C&F and Factory to ensure delivery from port on time.
∎ Monitoring port and shipping demurrage and initiatives to minimize demurrage.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 26 to 32 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ 1 to 3 year(s) of experience, preferably in Food industry
∎ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
∎ Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple procurement projects simultaneously.
∎ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
