Educational Requirements:
∎ Graduation/post-graduation (preferable in Supply Chain) from UGC approved university
∎ Professional Degree on Supply Chain Management will be an added advantage.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Collect and review proforma invoice, prerequisite terms and conditions for opening LC
∎ Prepare and submit LC opening documents and confirm the draft LC along with Bank.
∎ Maintain liaison with Bank to submit LC opening documents, endorse shipping documents and issue a pay order.
∎ Follow up shipment, mode of payment, custom duty, transportation of raw materials, and process shipping documents with C & F agents.
∎ Coordinate with insurance company to collect cover note and insurance policy to clear the consignment from customs.
∎ Maintain database (e.g. LC opening documents, Shipping documents, Cover note, Insurance policy, Voucher, C&F etc.)
∎ Communicate LC voucher, Insurance voucher, shipping documents, Bill of entry to factory end.
∎ Maintain liaison with relevant govt. authority (e.g Khamar bari, BSTI, BCSIR) for import permit (IP) application, sample testing and new products licensing.
