Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor degree in any discipline
∎ Minimum Graduated from DU-ILET/KUET or any reputed University. Candidate should have high technical knowledge on sports / synthetics/leather shoe footwear industries, production by maintaining highest efficiency level. Minimum 7-10 years of work experience in Footwear Product Costing and/or Strategic Planning.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Knowledge of footwear material and production construction·.
∎ Maintaining and tracking inventory.
∎ Provide product costing expertise to Product Development team during product creation cycles to advise on key cost drivers and options to adjust costs to meet margin targets.
∎ Provide technical costing expertise to Footwear Product Team to enable design for manufacturing and maximize the profitability.
∎ Own seasonal margin report preparation and analysis and reporting tool updates and maintenance at each key milestone. Recommend and design improvements to the reporting tool.
∎ Create and manage seasonal FOB KPI reporting tool to facilitate product value/ margin/FOB discussion with cross-functional teams and to enhance margin optimization
∎ Partner with Liaison Costing Team (Asia Costing and Costing IE teams) to integrate product costing into existing project management system. Represent Costing in design and implementation meetings with IT Systems and Footwear Systems Lead.
∎ Partner with Liaison Costing Team to monitor and forecast raw material price trends, labor cost trends in sourcing countries and other cost drivers
∎ Maintaining and tracking inventory.
∎ Advise on long range FOB forecasting to facilitate strategic decision making, sourcing allocation and financial planning.
∎ Understand Innovation Team product strategies and provide costing expertise at prototype stage to inform design and manufacturing decisions well-ahead of inline production.
∎ Work closely with the Lean and Industrial Engineering teams to understand the impact of factory output on product labor costs; use insights and findings to inform product creation teams to design and develop for manufacturing.
∎ Partner with Asia Costing, Engineering and Innovation teams to design costing guidelines to ensure product teams meet target FOBs throughout the product life cycle.
∎ Lead strategic costing projects and strategic Footwear supplier negotiation preparation.
∎ Strong understanding of cost drivers·
∎ Strong knowledge of cost driver management within a supplier and the entire supply chain·
∎ Excellent verbal and written communication skills, demonstrating effective listening through concise, clear verbal and written communication.
∎ Any other job assigned by the Management time to time.
