Educational Requirements:
∎ BSc Engineering in Civil from any Public University
Experience Requirements:
∎ 3 to 5 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Structural Design of Multi-storied Residential & Commercial buildings
∎ Create structural models by using computer-aided design software
∎ Measure loads and pressures caused by environmental or human influence
∎ Knowledge about relevant codes such as BNBC, ACI, ASTM etc
∎ Prepares construction budget by studying Design & drawings, updating specifications; identifying and projecting costs for each elevation.
∎ Coordinate with external & internal consultants (Architectural, Structural, Sanitary & Plumbing, Electrical & Fire protection and detection Consultants)
∎ Design & Drawing checking including BOQ & MOQ also.
∎ Knowledge about operation of Microsoft Project program
∎ Monitor on-site construction processes as per requirement of management, checking structural work & ensuring Compliance of construction Quality
∎ Track and report on project progress
Additional Requirements:
∎ Previous experience as a Structural Engineer or similar field
∎ Excellent knowledge of construction methods and regulations
∎ Hands-on experience on Excel, MS Project, and Auto Cad
∎ Good communication ability (both written and verbal)
∎ Member of the Institution of Engineers, Bangladesh is preferable
