Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Conduct research to identify potential international suppliers that meet the company's quality, cost, and sustainability standards.
∎ Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate favorable terms and conditions. Draft and finalize contracts to ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards.
∎ Work closely with the quality assurance team to ensure that sourced products meet the company's quality standards.
∎ Develop and implement cost-effective strategies to optimize the procurement process while maintaining high-quality standards.
∎ Stay informed about market trends, pricing, and changes in the industry to make informed decisions and recommendations.
∎ Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with international suppliers to foster a collaborative and mutually beneficial partnership.
∎ Identify potential risks in the supply chain and implement strategies to mitigate those risks.
