Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Should have sound knowledge on BNBC, NFPA, Nirapon & RSC guidelines.
∎ Design and develop fire protection systems including standpipe systems, sprinkler systems, and suppression systems as per NFPA guidelines.
∎ Prepare BOQ for fire alarm system, fire protection system & fire suppression system.
∎ Perform hydraulic calculations, battery calculations, and voltage drop calculations.
∎ Conduct troubleshooting and maintenance of fire alarm control panels, fire pumps, drivers, and controllers.
∎ Project visits to create project requirements (BOQ) and meet with client for various engineering support.
∎ Meeting with Brand, Nirapon, RSC and other relevant authorities for engineering review and clarifications.
∎ Conduct Pre-T&C and T&C for fire protection and detection system under your supervision, thereafter prepare the reports.
∎ Project management from the start of installation until the handover and through after-sales.
∎ Collaborate with project teams to integrate fire safety systems into overall building designs.
∎ Conduct site inspections to ensure systems are installed and functioning correctly.
∎ Follow-up project teams & report to superiors.
∎ Perform any others job assigned by the management when required.
∎ We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fire Safety Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge in the design and implementation of fire protection and detection systems, including standpipe systems, sprinkler systems, suppression systems, and fire alarm control panels. The candidate should be well-versed in the Bangladesh National Building Code (BNBC 2006 & BNBC 2020) and international standards such as IBC & NFPA
