Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Work independently to ensure operation of plant assets by the timely completion of preventative and condition-based maintenance requirements on furnaces, presses, hydraulic systems, engines, motors, pumps, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines.
∎ Specify and quantify recommended spare parts by creation of spare parts ledgers and working with Central Stores, as needed, to ensure parts Cleans, lubricates and inspect equipment.
∎ Follow all appropriate procedures for the accumulation, labeling, on-site transportation, storage, and inspection of materials designated as hazardous waste per Environmental Control instructions.
∎ Maintain controls and instrumentation for high-speed manufacturing equipment and general electrical maintenance for brewery facilities.
∎ Experience in High voltage, Programmable logic controllers, Sensors (weight, counters, photo-eyes, ), Instrumentation.
∎ Installing new plant equipment
∎ Able to document engineering changes, equipment modifications, and new installations.
∎ Ability to plan work that requires knowledge of electrical and mechanical theories and principals to effectively accomplish assigned work with minimal interruption to production.
∎ Develop a predictive/preventative approach to electrical and mechanical maintenance issues.
∎ Requires advanced aptitude and experience in various areas of maintenance
∎ Solid understanding of electrical systems and related components
∎ Advanced knowledge of the principles, methods and techniques used in the fabrication and testing of electrical components and troubleshooting.
