Education:
∎ Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery(MBBS)
∎ MBBS with FCPS/MS in Gynae & Obs. recognized by BMDC. Candidate having experience after post graduation will get preference.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Responsible to implement total activities of hospital or department under suspension of consultant.
∎ Responsible to manage and support all clinical activity related to patient.
∎ Adequately assess patient's condition, based on history and physical examination to establish diagnosis.
∎ Able to interpret relevant investigations for smooth management of patient.
∎ Competent to manage surgical patients from admission to discharge.
∎ Continuously monitor and review patient progress and adjust management plan according to need in consultation with respective consultant.
∎ Responsible for in patient round every day and fill gaps in case sheet and progress note.
∎ Competent with updated knowledge on obstetrics and Gynecology and apply them on patients under supervision of consultant.
∎ Must play role in teaching medical officers, Nurses/midwifery staffs.
∎ Maintain record of clinical activities including surgery systematically.
∎ Finalize statistics of the department 6 monthly and annually and disseminate among other departments.
∎ Organize CME, Seminars within the department periodically.
∎ Participate in annual performance development review.
∎ Undertake mandatory training (including safety and quality training) as relevant to role.
∎ Counter sign the discharge certificate and ensure that ensure that treatment and advice are well ventilated to the patient.
∎ Maintain friendly congenial environment with colleagues and patients.
∎ Evaluate performance of medical officers (MO) and senior Medical officers (SMO) annually.
∎ Participate continuously in quality improvement activities in accordance to recognized health standards.
