Job Context:
∎ SAMAHAR (Multidisciplinary Research and Development Foundation) is a leading organization that implements various development programs and projects with funding from the Government of Bangladesh, the World Bank, ADB, JICA, and other development partners. Recently, SAMAHAR has been selected by the Local Government Division, under the Ministry of Local Government, Rural Development, and Cooperative Government of the People`s Republic of Bangladesh, for implementing the "Urban Primary Health Care Services Delivery Project-II." Under that project, SAMAHAR is inviting applications for the position of Specialist Physician (Gynae & obs) at Comprehensive Reproductive Health Care Centre (CRHCC) from eligible Bangladeshi talent.
∎ The of Specialist Physician (Gynae & obs), will Closely work with the Project Manager and other key staff for smooth running of the center. Besides, he or she will be accountable for maintaining the organization`s priority of enhancing productivity and sustainability while ensuring a client-focused environment and standard of quality. Leading the team by motivating them to achieve their targets, supporting them in identifying their improvement areas, and coaching them to enhance their skills and capacities. Female applicants will get preference.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Manage emergency cases, conduct complication deliveries, perform Caesarian operation, provide on the job training to junior doctors and paramedics.
∎ Performa Minor gynecological operation, Regular ward round.
∎ Arrange Scientific Seminar and maintain license with other hospitals.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Experience in urban health programming will be an added advantage for this position
∎ Specialist Physician (Gynae & obs) would get priority. Should have experience in private sector/NGO managed hospital/clinics
∎ Team player, excellent interpersonal & communication skill, analytical skills, self- organizing capacity. Open to ideas and contributions from others.
