Requirements:
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Attending the round with consultants.
∎ Assist consultants in the day-to-day management of patients.
∎ Assist in patient management as advised by the consultant.
∎ Withdraw blood for investigation purpose.
∎ Giving Blood transfusion, Blood products transfusion.
∎ Shall be doing procedures: Lumber puncture, ET intubations & ventilation management, Arterial line, taking Arterial blood for blood gas analysis, Intravenous cannulation, Inserting Oro-gastric and nasogastric tube, Catheterization, CV line insertion, USG guided invasive procedure, dialysis catheter etc.To be conversant with the quality indication in PICU. (VAE, CAUTI, CLABSI, NSI, SSI)To provide appropriate guidance and counseling to patient attendants regarding End-of-life care.
∎ Academic activities—Taking classes for Nurse.Performing regular CME.Taking data for various studies, eg. sepsis, poisoning etc
