Job Responsibilities:
∎ Privileges and scope of work will be defined by coordinator and should be approved by credentialing committee.
∎ Privileges and performance should be evaluated periodically.
∎ As a Specialist, he/she will be working under direct supervision and control of Consultants / Coordinator appointed in the specialty area, permanently or by rotation.
∎ Specialists have to do the roster duty like Sr. Registrar supervised and assigned by coordinator / Consultant
∎ He/she will not be permitted to practice in his/her specialty or any other specialty in any capacity outside the hospital.
∎ He/she will not be permitted any attachment with other Hospitals, Nursing homes or Diagnostic Centers of any kind.
∎ He/she is responsible to maintain discipline amongst subordinate staff and will be directly responsible for the quality of work.
∎ He/she is to ensure teaching activities of Residents and Registrars.
∎ He/she will not act in any manner that is likely to bring discredit to the Hospital or another Consultant colleague working in this Hospital
∎ You will keep a record of credential information in the prescribed format, i.e., clinical and continuing medical education. These details will be submitted on regular basis to the DMS.
∎ You will comply with all credentialing requests made by the DMS and the credentials committee from time to time.
∎ You will inform the office of the DMS for any changes in your medical qualification, registration status, and address or contact information.
∎ You will seek the permission of the DMS before initiating a new procedure into your clinical practice.
